The Islamic Center of Manhattan accepts Zakat Al-Fitr at a rate of $12 per individual. To fulfill this obligation at the Islamic Center of Manhattan, cash donations can be placed in the designated Zakat Al-Fitr Box or using our terminal at ICM main hall.
It is important to note that Zakat Al-Fitr should be paid before Eid prayer, ideally a few days in advance, to ensure timely distribution to beneficiaries for Eid celebrations.
